Love through compassion, love through forgiveness, love through belief and encouragement, love through patience and honesty, love through happiness and contentment, as well as love through various other virtues and disciplines. If love doesn’t unite us all, then I don’t know what does.
“Love is the answer…” — John Lennon
The misrepresentation of some religions is quite sad and the sensationalization of a few associated headliners in the news gives way to a false education of many religions. But, it’s hard to argue with some of the basics (in no particular order):
- Love yourself
- Love others
- Love what you do
- Love your environment
- Love whatever you believe in
Respect is such an important part of life, we are taught respect at the beginning of our lives and never stop learning it or being reminded of respect at some level. People can earn and lose respect in a split second, but something seemingly disrespectful to one person, may not be disrespectful at all to another… it all depends on where you are coming from.
Respect is the value you place on someone or something and at some level you may find that everything is worthy of some level of basic respect.
